César Saavedra M.

My name is César Saavedra M., an Industrial Mechanical Engineer passionate about research, product development, team work and teaching.

I enjoy working on challenging tasks, using my skills, engineering knowledge and curiosity to solve complex problems.

I stongly believe in the role of each member of my teams, in order to develop first-class solutions.

- Claims and Specification drafting.

- CAD, DFM analysis, FEA.
- Rapid prototyping.
- Material testing and modelling.

- Technical teams leadership.

- CubeSat development.
University teaching:
- Lectures, laboratory practices, demos.

Personal interests

I truly enjoy listening to music and playing the drums.

I also love taking photos, especially street and landscape photography in analog media. I like the combination of optics, chemistry and art during the film development process.

Another way I'm able to combine my interests is astronomy and astrophotography! I aim to learn more about photo stacking and noise managment soon.

Regarding literature, my favourite novel is Pedro Páramo by Juan Rulfo: complex and interconected storylines presented in a poetic and almost magical fashion.
